Due to uncontrollable circumstances, the Train in the Distance III event scheduled for Saturday, August 9th, 2008 has been postponed until 2009. Thank you for your support.
Train in the Distance Traditional
Train in the Distance is coming to Plano for two fun-filled nights of music on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th at 8pm at the ArtCentre Theatre, home of Teatro delle Muse.
“Everybody I know has someone in their life that is either battling or has lost their battle to some form of cancer or, worse, is fighting it themselves, “ says Ande Bewley, director of this summer’s events. “The family members are battling along with them. This show and the songs we sing are a display of support and unity to let them know they are not alone. We are, ultimately, all in this together.”
The show is a family-friendly event that appeals to all ages. Music will include songs by Billy Joel, Dan Fogelberg, U2, Coldplay and The Beatles, among others.
The OneNightOnly Band features both amateur and professional musicians from across the Metroplex who volunteer their time and efforts to this event.
Tickets are on sale starting July 14th and can be purchased for $15 each through TicketstotheCity.com. All net proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
